AC Hotel is a brand created by Spanish hotelier and entrepreneur Antonio Catalán, who for over 15 years has worked to evolve hospitality through quality, innovation, and service—making hotels feel better than home. Under the Marriott umbrella, the brand has expanded worldwide. In 2020, it arrived in Chile with AC Hotel Santiago Costanera Center, which in 2025 changed its name to align with the new identity of Cenco Malls. Starting in May, the property is officially known as AC Hotel Santiago Cenco Costanera.

This name change reflects the transformation of Cencosud Shopping Centers into Cenco Malls, a new regional brand that aims to offer more modern, sustainable, and innovative experiences across its commercial spaces, from shopping centers to hotels and offices. The change reinforces the close relationship between the hotel and the iconic mall, enhancing the experience for those who live, work, or visit Santiago.

Pastry chef Gustavo Sáez is behind the bar’s dessert menu, which he curated in 2024. It features four distinctive creations, complementing the bar’s culinary identity.
