Located 2,182 miles off the coast of Chile, Easter Island is one of the most isolated places on the planet, known for its ancient stone moai statues, its rocky volcanic landscape, and its timeless beauty.

At the heart of it all is Nayara Hangaroa, an eco-friendly escape nestled in the Pacific Ocean.

Chilean designer Paula Gutiérrez channeled the island’s magical energy and cultural riches when designing the 75 rooms, which were constructed with cypress logs, clay, and volcanic stone. Each room features private bathtubs and terraces with views of lush vegetation and the island’s deep blue waters.

Guests can easily venture into town to experience Rapa Nui culture firsthand or relax by the seaside pool and visit the Manavai Spa, a replica of an ancient Manavai dome, for coconut body scrubs and massages using pure Tahitian coconut oil and tiaré flowers.

In the three vibrant restaurants, sample local specialties such as ra rape (a smaller native lobster), stone-cooked tuna ceviche, and colorful salads and other dishes incorporating local sweet potatoes, bananas, and mangoes.
